PhotoVu has released the PV1945 , a 19-inch digital LCD picture frame for US$999. The company has also lowered the price of the 17-inch LCD PV1750 model to $799.
Along with the new PV1945 model and lower cost PV1750, PhotoVu also announces upgraded built-in support for the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and Apple iPhoto 5 photo management software, as well as new VESA mounting compatibility. As with all of PhotoVu’s products, they include a custom frame and mat made to order to match almost any décor.
All PhotoVu digital picture frames require no additional image manipulation or software installation. Consumer and business users can display thousands of digital photos or other digital content stored on any computer that has a network connection and is running Mac OS X, Windows, Linux or Unix. An optional 40GB removable hard drive, or USB key drive, is also available for stand-alone operation. All features and operations are controlled remotely from any computer’s Web browser on the network.
